I installed Vim 7.0 on my Windows XP last week. Then I cannot use visual block mode, for it pastes anything from my buffer whenever I press "
CTRL-V", even in control mode. Damned it!
I check the documents of vim, and found the evil source: a configuration file customized for windows, mswin.vim. Among the composition keys mapped are not only "
CTRL-V", but also "
CTRL-C" and "
CTRL-X", notorious windows substitution for
paste,
copy and
cut respectively.
I just get all the shit deleted, and then my vim works fine again.
