Full Automated SMS testing? Get the job done!

Is it possible to create a full automated SMS test case? 

The essential of automated testing is to avoid any manual interrupt. So how to verify if a short message is sent successfully full automatically? How to verify a message is received successfully full automatically? Seemed have as some tester to do so.

Well, "Eventually, we can get it done!" said as Mr. CHEN, the carpenter who worked in my family. Ask "help" from the telecom providers. Typically the telecom providers provide automatic short message based service. For example, China Telecom users send 102 to 10001, will get a short message about the available phone prepay.So the full automated SMS test case (should say, this is a test scenario) looks like following:

 

1. Send a trigger short message to the telecom provider. Verify the return value is necessary here.
2. Wait for the reply short message from telecom provide.
3. Receive the  reply short message from telecom provide (Send short message successfully).
4. Verify the reply short message is the expected one (Verify this is correct responding).
5. Delete the reply short message. (System clean up)

With this scenario, implement the full automated basic short message functional testing.
