The end of a dream

Tired of sleeping on the floor, a young man in Teheran saved up for years to buy a real bed. For the first time in his life, he became the proud owner of a bed which had springs and a mattress. Because the weather was very hot, he carried the bed on to the roof of his house. He slept very well for the first tow nights, but on the third night, a storm blew up. A gust of wind swept the bed off the roof and sent it crashing into the courtyard below. The young man did not wake up until the bed had struck the ground. Although the bed was smashed to pieces, the man was miraculously unhurt. When he woke up, he was still on the mattress. Glancing at the bits of wood and metal that lay around him, the man sadly picked up the mattress and carried it into his house. After he had put it on the floor, he promptly went to sleep again.

因为担心睡在地板上，一个在德黑兰的年轻人花费多年的积蓄买了一个真正的床。这个是他人生第一次，自豪的买了一件属于自己有带床垫的弹簧床。由于天气很炎热，于是他将床搬到房顶上。头两个晚上他睡的很好，但是第三个晚上，一场风暴来到了。一阵大风将床从楼顶吹了下来摔坏在下面的院子。这个年轻人直到这床撞击到地面上才醒过来。尽管床碎成碎片，年轻人竟然奇迹的没有受伤。当他醒来的时候，他扔躺在睡垫上。他扫视了一下摆放在身边一些木头碎片和金属，年轻人伤心的抓起床垫跑进房间。之后，他把床垫放在地板上，迅速的进入了睡眠。
