No real need to remove it, just disable it. As root, edit the file /etc/yum.repos.d/<reponame>.repo (insert the offending reponame) and change the line "enabled=1" to enabled=0". You can always enable it again if you need to in the future, rather than just vaporizing it. If you really feel the need to do so, then just delete the offending .repo file.
