• Basic Cube
• Virtual Cube
SAP Remote Cube
General Remote Cube
Virtual Cube with Services

The following are the differences between Basic Cubes and Virtual Cubes with Services
• A basic cube is a Physical container of Data whereas a virtual cube is only a logical view of a dataset.
• A basic cube can get data from different InfoSources, ODSs etc. but the datasource for a VC with Services is a user-defined Function Module.

As real time infocube holds data , it comes under basic cube..
