Correct steps of creating vmware shared virtual disks?

1. SCSI设置为physical mode.
Adding a disk to two VMs require the SCSI controller to be in shared mode.
For this, power of the first VM; then Click on Edit settings. 
Click on ‘SCSI Controller’ 
Under SCSI Bus sharing , select the option for ‘Physical’ 
While adding this same disk to second VM, ensure that you add the same hard disk and mark the SCSI controller as ‘Physical’ as well. 
This should allow you to share a disk between two VMs.

2. Disk必须设置为eager zeroed thick provision.
When using the multi-writer mode, the virtual disk must be eager zeroed thick; it cannot be zeroed thick or thin provisioned. For more information, see A virtual machine fails to power on with the error: Thin/TBZ disks cannot be opened in multiwriter mode. 
  
VMware ESX cannot open the virtual disk for clustering.

错误设置导致的报错
1. An error was received from the ESX host while powering on VM aaa-test-share-disk. 
Failed to start the virtual machine. 
Module DiskEarly power on failed. 
Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/53fc091c-02bb4a10-5cc1-00101898f8cc/citynet-rhel6.5-test-share-disk/aaa-test-share-disk.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. 
Thin/TBZ/Sparse disks cannot be opened in multiwriter mode. 

2. An error was received from the ESX host while powering on VM aab-test-share-disk. 
Failed to start the virtual machine. 
Module DiskEarly power on failed. 
Cannot open the disk '/vmfs/volumes/5411b82f-6f9195a9-5191-00101898f8cc/aaa-test-share-disk/aaa-test-share-disk_1.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. 
Failed to lock the file.
