1.1  Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit...

有时用yum安装docker或者升级时，会出现以下情况：

1.1.1  现象

[root@dockerserver2 ~]# yum install docker

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks

Repodata is over 2 weeks old. Install yum-cron? Or run: yum makecache fast

Existing lock /var/run/yum.pid: another copy is running as pid 4279.

Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit...

  The other application is: PackageKit

    Memory : 132 M RSS (1.0 GB VSZ)

    Started: Mon Sep 26 06:27:37 2016 - 04:18 ago

    State  : Sleeping, pid: 4279

1.1.2  处理办法

可以通过强制关掉yum进程来解决处理

rm -f /var/run/yum.pid

1.1.3  具体过程

删除后，安装正常操作

Exiting on user cancel.

[root@dockerserver2 ~]# rm -f /var/run/yum.pid

 [root@dockerserver2 ~]# yum install docker

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks

Repodata is over 2 weeks old. Install yum-cron? Or run: yum makecache fast
