ORA-12838 cannot read/modify an object after modifying it in parallel
Cause: Within the same transaction, an attempt was made to add read or modification statements on a table after it had been modified in parallel or with direct load. This is not permitted.
Action: Rewrite the transaction, or break it up into two transactions: one containing the initial modification and the second containing the parallel modification operation

 

SQL>> create table t1 nologging as select * from dba_source;

已建立表格.

SQL>> insert /*+ append */ into t1 select * from t1;

已建立 359278 个资料列.

SQL>> insert /*+ append */ into t1 select * from t1;
insert /*+ append */ into t1 select * from t1
*
ERROR 在行 1:
ORA-12838: 在修改物件后即无法平行地读取或修改它

SQL> commit;

确认完成.

SQL> insert /*+ append */ into t1 select * from t1;

已建立 718556 个资料列

另外，我发现：insert /*+ append */ into， 如果在循环里调用的话，

SQL>  declare
  2     e number :=0;
  3   begin
  4   for i in 1..100 loop
  5     e:=e+1;
  6   dbms_output.put_line(e);
  7   insert /*+ append */ into test2 select object_id from all_objects;
  8   --commit;   如果不commit的话，就会遇到下属错误。
  9   end loop;
10   end;
11  /
declare
*
ERROR at line 1:
