Senior Risk & Security Management Specialist (f/m) for SAP China

 

Role Description

Provide expertise and direction with regard to risk management and security related topics in the Business Units within SAP China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP's global Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) organization in the Board area Finance & Administration consolidates the policies, processes, communication, reporting, and organizational structures of all GRC-related activities. The integrated GRC function focuses on increasing the added business value of governance, risk, and compliance processes at SAP through the utilization of synergies and high-quality business services, without compromising on transparency and compliance. The GRC mandate includes Enterprise Risk Management, Global Security, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.

 

Regional and local organizations working in risk management, security and SOX compliance areas report directly into the global GRC organization. There is also a strong dotted reporting line to the Lines of Business served by the regional GRC Officer (where accountability for the execution of SAP's risk, security and compliance management processes resides).

EDUCTION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

§    University Degree: Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, IT/Computer Science

§    Preferred to have any of:  CRCMP/FRM, CA/CPA, CIA, CISA, CRISC, or PMP certifcations

§    Solid experience in risk management and a deep understanding of the associated processes, methods, and tools

§    We expect a person with managerial expertise, an extensive knowledge of the organization and the core processes of the Field Service Organization

§    Project management experience managing projects/teams to implement SAP along with full cycle SAP implementation experience  and well versed with SAP Implementation Methodology.

§    Strong commercial acumen

§    Provide leadership, expertise and direction in the development and implementation of Risk Management related topics

§    The ideal candidate (f/m) provides a broad experience in intercultural management and has built a strong network within and outside the organization

§    Well developed analytical skills, and ability to develop solutions to unique problems

§    Highly motivated, and able to work in a virtual team environment

§    Excellent communication and presentation skills

§    Open, friendly, creative personality. Service-oriented professional attitude

Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

§    Implement risk and security management strategies, and develops procedures to enable risk & security management and to achieve compliance objectives

§    Increase the added business value of governance, risk, and compliance processes at SAP through high-quality business services, without compromising on transparency and compliance

§    Ensures high quality risk & security reporting to corporate and regional / divisional management (e.g. through Board Risk Reports, Executive Risk Committees and other regular, global/ divisional risk reporting processes)

§    Provide risk & security management thought leadership and deep understanding of high risk areas for the company

§    Advises Executive management on best practice for risk & security management and definition of related strategies

§    Develops global risk & security management best practices, concepts, and recomzmended practices for integration to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan businesses

§    Conduct risk assessments for all risk relevant activities, with focus on top executive management and the Lines of Business Sales and Consulting

§    Maintain information and communication flows to local and regional management on GRC related topics

§    Trains internal customers on the use of SAP Risk Management systems and offline tools

§    Build and maintain partnerships with key internal decision makers, and with external risk & security practitioners

§    Advise local management and employees on GRC matters

WORK EXPERIENCE

§    Min 5 - 7 years of relevant experience including project management, business operations, and/or risk management

§    Long term SAP implementation project or comparable consulting experience

§    Prior assignment(s) in various lines of business at SAP is a plus

§    Prior experience in risk-management related activities
