对于图象显示原理的理解,理解后有助于理解UI卡顿和掉帧的情况。
(The understanding of the principle of image display ,that is helpful to understand the situation of UI jamming and frame dropping)

简单来说,CPU和GPU通过总线连接起来的。
(In short, CPU and GPU are connect by bus. )

CPU对数据进行处理,处理成位图之后,再通过总线传给GPU。
(The CPU deal with the data. Data becomes (backing store)bitmaps. The bitmap is transmitted to the GPU through the bus.)

GPU拿到位图后对其进行相应的图层渲染和纹理合成等相关操作。
(After getting the bitmap, GPU will operat it that layer rendering , texture synthesis)

最后把结果放入帧缓冲区中。
(After getting the result, GPU puts it in the frame buffer.)

视频控制器根据特定的信号在指定时间提取帧缓冲区的内容显示在手机屏幕上。
(In the end ,according to the specific signal, the controller will commit the content of frame buffer at a specified time and displays it on the screen .)

一次图象的显示过程
(The display process of an image )

在UIView中,UIView负责事件的传递和响应,而UIView包含的layer层则负责显示内容。
(The UIView is responsible for the event delivery and the response ,the layer (In UIView) responsible for displaying content)

layer内包含contents则是对应的数据。
(The contents are corresponding data in the layer.)

UIView的drawRect:回调,绘制UIView,然后通过Core Animation框架返给OpenGL的ES,最后显示在屏幕上。
( it draws UIView by the drawRect: callback . through the Core Animation framework , return to es of OpenGL. finally display on the screen.)

在整个过程中,CPU处理的部分为layout、display、prepare、commit。
(In the whole process , the CPU process part is the layout, the display ,the pepare and the commit.)

通过layout,处理一些UI布局和文本计算内容。
(the layout deal with UI layouts and text computations. )

display则是绘制layout处理后的内容,通过prepare预处理后,由commit提交位图给GPU。
(after layout , Display is to draw the content .through pepare ,commit conents to GPU. )

而GPU处理的部分为顶点着色、图元装配、光栅化、片段着色、片段处理。
(The GPU process part is vertex shading , primitive assembly , rasterization , fragment coloring , fragment processing.)

通过拿到位图,对其进行顶点着色、图元装配、光栅化、片段着色、片段处理。
(After getting the bitmap , vertex shading, primitive assembly , resterization , fragment coloring and fragment processing )

然后将像素点提交至帧缓冲区。
(And then ,it submit pixels to frame buffer.)

最后由视频控制器提取内容显示到屏幕上。
(Finally , the controller extracts the contents and display it on the screen.)
