SELECT * FROM table.
  MOVE table-col TO ITAB-col.
  APPEND ITAB.
ENDSELECT.

2. Read all records

SELECT col1 col2  col3 col3 col4 col5 col6
       FROM table
       APPENDING CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ITAB
       WHERE col1= '89407110' AND  col2 IN S_col2.

3. Read all or selected records in one step

select  * from  table  into table itab.

or

select  * from  table  into table itab
     where name = 'Robert'.

4. Reading selected fields

SELECT col1 col2
   INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE itab       

   FROM table                                               
   WHERE col1 = 'Robert'.
