And 10 wins would give Vol fans optimism as they prepare for the 2007 season. It was a dreary offseason after last year, and they could use something positive to build off going into next year.

UT is coming off backtoback losses to LSU and Arkansas. That added to last year's loss to Vandy should give the Vols plenty of motivation.

UT still has a chance at a good season. The Vols can win 10 regular season games and 11 with a bowl game win. They can get back to and finish in the Top 10. And they can change the perception
