From Apps screen, touch the Home button to go to the Home screen, or touch the Back button to return to the Apps screen if you want to force stop any other apps. To get to the App Info screen on a Samsung Galaxy S4, touch the Menu button and then touch Settings on the menu.

On the Settings screen, touch More on the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Once the list of applications is generated (this may take a while if you have a lot of applications installed), find the application in the list you want to force stop and touch it.
