Google Gears 数据库的存储位置

    继adobe、微软、firefox之后，google也终于推出了自己的离线程序设计环境：google gears。这是一个可以让web程序离线储存数据，并且离线运行的环境。比如或许gmail以后可以上线后将邮件下载到本地，离线，回复后再上线统一发送。这样的环境让web程序迈出了新的一步，桌面与web终将融合。
    而第一个应用gears技术的将是google自家的google reader。google会为其配备一个一个绿色的“下载到本地”按钮，点击后就能将当前未读的feed下载到本地，之后不管你离线还是什么的，均能随意阅读你的feed了。
    google gears提供了三个模块：一个本地服务器，用来存储和读取离线程序；一个小型数据库，用来储存本地数据；一个工作池，用来让开发者将本地数据与服务器端同步。

Windows Vista – Internet Explorer
Location: {FOLDERID_LocalAppDataLow}/Google/Gears for Internet Explorer
Example: C:/Users/Bob/AppData/LocalLow/Google/Gears for Internet Explorer

Windows Vista – Firefox – Files are stored in the user local profile directory.
Location: C:/Users//AppData/Local/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/{profile}.default/Gears for Firefox
Example: C:/Users/Bob/AppData/Local/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/uelib44s.default/Gears for Firefox
