1) Failed to boot into the ubuntu system, the error message shows in the serial console as below

Solution:

execute below commands one by one

xhiveai#  abboot reset
xhiveai#  reset
<enter into the Ubuntu OS>
do command: boot_util -m

2) HDMI LCD Monitor can’t display the video

Notice:

1. Must connect the 1080p HDMI monitor to the board. Other resolutions, such as 720p, are not supported so far.

2. The HDMI monitor is connected to the board firstly and then power on the board. If the monitor is connected to the board after the board is powered on, there might be some display issues.

3. It was found out some old style HDMI monitors are not supported well. please try to use the up-to-date models.

Debugging Steps:

Step 1: run command: df_andi

The HDMI LCD monitor should has the output. If not, continue to do Step 2 for debugging

Step 2: cat /sys/class/display/mode

1080p60hz

If it is other values, it means the HDMI monitor is not the right one to use.

Step 3: cd /sys/class/drm

cat card0-HDMI-A-1/modes

example output:

1920x1080
1920x1080
1920x1080i
1920x1080i
1920x1080
1920x1080i
1680x1050
1280x1024

Must include the 1920x1080 item in the list.

Step 4: Switch the HDMI monitor from power-off to power-on state, there should be blow printing(example) on the console:

            It means that the board is connected to the HDMI monitor. Otherwise, the connections has not be established.
