1.     Tell me aboutyourself:

1) Start with a briefintroduction. Talk about skills that are key to the position applied for.
Sample: 'During my 2 years of experience as a sales executive, I have masteredthe ability to prospect, generate business leads, and motivate my team membersto reach targets.'

2) Provide a summary of your recent work history. Keep your response limited toyour current experience. Don't go back more than 2 years.
Sample: 'Most recently, at The XYZ Corporation, I was challenged with turningaround a stagnant territory that ranked last in sales. I developed anaggressive sales campaign that focused on winning new accounts and nurturingthe existing client base. Within six months, my sales team and I were able toincrease sales by 40 per cent.'

3.) Tie your response to the needs of the organization. Demonstrate how yourexperience and skills are transferable to the open position.
Sample: 'I have learnt about the challenges your IT department is facing and my background in developingsoftware for leading companies will add value.'


4) Ask an engaging question. By asking a question, you gain control of theinterview. Doing so will alleviate the stress you may feel to perform.
Sample: 'What strategies are currently underway to reduce the employee turnover(员工流动| 职工离职| 员工流失|) and improve morale?'

 

3.     what’s  your greatest strength

I think I am good at timemanagement. Every morning, the first thing when I come to office is to listwhatever I should do for the day. And mark those have high priority.

Then action ~ At the end of day,I will check the list what and put mark the status for individual task.

I would like to work hard andconcentrate in that particular field which I like most. My long-term goalsinvolve growing with a company where I can continue to learn, take onadditional responsibilities, and contribute as much of value as I can. 6.     Describe your management style.
Try to avoid labels. Some of the more common labels, like progressive,
salesman or consensus, can have several meanings or descriptions
depending on which management expert you listen to. The situational
style is safe, because it says you will manage according to the
situation, instead of one size fits all.

"Ifind that it is not effective to use only one type of management style,I have to adapt according to the individual I am dealing with and the situation. For example with inexperienced employees I use a management style that involves a high level of task instruction and close supervision. I find this effective because the employee needs to be secure that they know exactly what to do and how to do it. They also require constant support to build their confidence. For a more experienced employee who is comfortable with the work, I delegate the task and expect them to come to me for help if they need it. This demonstrates my trust in their ability to do the job on their own."

2.       Is there a project your department is working on now? If so, how are you interacting with your staff on it?

3.       What are the biggest challenges the person in this position will face?

4.      What have been the main characteristics of your favorite employees?

5.      What’s your typical daily working hour? How is the work intensity? OT often?

6.      Who is going to be my supervisor? What’s your typical management style?

7.       How would you describe the culture here? What type of people tends to really thrive, and what type don't do as well?
