handoff between wimax and wifi

At present,I read a lot of papers refering to the handoff during isomerous networks.I have learned the structure of wifi network for a long time and have been familiar with it to some extent. As for wimax, I have learned it some months ago. My major is communication engineering, so I think I can leran it well.

      As the wireless city plan developing very fast, I think the handoff with the isomerous networks is the exepecting technology. So I should try my best to do it well.

     Based on the work done by others, I found that there are two methods to deal with tihs handoff. The first is to make it true through module additional. The second is to based on the technology mobile IP. A lot of professor and paper has pointed out that the second one is kind of better than the first one. I will concentrate more on the mobile IP to  realize the handoff between the isomerous networks.
