二、波分复用网络中的组件
1.OLT(光线路终端):
   OLT用在点到点链路的任一端,将多个波长复用到单芯光纤,同时将复合的WDM信号解复用到合个波长。[内部包含:波长转发器,波长复用器,可选的光放大器]

2.OADM(光分叉复用器)
OADM从WDM信号中可选择的一些波长上路和下路,同时允许其余波长直通。

3.OXC(光交叉连接)
OXC是大规模的开关矩阵,用于动态提供业务及提供网络恢复功能。

4.光线路放大器

OLT、OADM、OXC本身可以包含光放大器,用以补偿损耗,放大光信号。

三、光层中的客户层
 PDH异步数字体系
最开始主要是复用数字语音电路。
在北美:
DS0(64kbps)、DS1(1.544Mbps)、DS3(44.736Mbps)
在欧洲:
E0(64kbps)、E1、E2

(一)、SONET/SDH    [物理层]
SONET(同步光网络)是当前北美数据通信基础设施中高速信号传输和复用的标准。
SDH(同步数字体系)已经在日本和欧洲大多数海底链路中被采用。
SONET/SDH作为第一个光网络的组成部分最早在骨干网中被采用。特别适合于支持CBR恒定比特率的连接,应用时分复用技术将这些信号复用。重要性质是它可提供高可靠性的载波分级业务。

1、速率:
SONET基本的信号速率是51.84Mb/s,称为同步传送信号级-1(STS-1)。STS信号是一个电信号。STS-1对应的光接口是OC-1。
(扰频技术是为了防止在数据流中出现长串的连0比特或连1比特)
SDH的基本信号速率是155Mb/s,称为STM-1。

2、不在范围内速率处理:
(1)、低于STS-1速率的那些低速率的、非SONET的数据流被映射到虚拟支线(VT)。每个VT被设计有足够的带宽去携带它的净荷。VT的四种容量:VT1.5(1.5Mbps)、VT2(2Mbps)、VT3(3Mbps)和VT6(6Mbps)。
高速的非SONET信号必须映射到一个SPE(同步净荷包)中,以便在SONET中传送。比如:高速的IP或以太网分组数据流。
使用一个带有锁定净荷的STS-Nc信号。“c”代表串联,N是STS-1净荷的数量。串联或锁定意味这一信号不能解复用到较低速率的数据流。(串联的缺点:所组成的净荷STS-1必须邻近)
(2)、SDH中使用虚容器(VC)。VC-[11,12,2,3,4]
虚串联(VCAT):允许非邻近净荷联合组成一个连接。
