Your special skill hobby might be more valuable than you think．For example，the Giving Strings Orchestra in Ohio donates money from its concert to children's charities．The orchestra was founded by Colleen Judge，a 13-year．old cellist and pianist．

And 11 -Year．old Jacob Komar，in Connecticut， has upgraded and rebuilt more than 60 computers He gives them to families who cannot afford then．He also teaches kids how to use them．

If you knit or sew，garden or raise birds，think about how` your hobby can benefit 0thers．

Gather and give
To make a difference，you don't have to be talented or rich just find a need and fill it Brant Whiting，a boy in California，did jus that．He set up a program to collect books and distribute them to school Libraries．More than 2，200 books were collected in Massachusetts schoolgirls Kristina and Lisa Giangrande started a hat and mitten drive for needy families they gathered over $18,000 worth of clothing!
