php图片验证码，为什么非要加上ob_clean();这句话才能正常显示呢？

之前没有这句话时，火狐会说图片本事内部有错误，加上之后，没一点问题；
看我下面代码：

之前我把session start开始一直到把生成的随机码$_nmsg保存到$_SESSION['code']的那几行注释掉之后，图像又能够显示，不注释掉就不行，我还以为问题出在这几行代码上呢！！！原来是输出缓冲，能给我讲讲原理吗？为什么加了ob_clean();就能正常了？？？？

ob_clean这个函数的作用就是用来丢弃输出缓冲区中的内容，如果你的网站有许多生成的图片类文件，那么想要访问正确，就要经常清除缓冲区。
If you work on an extremely large project with a lot of source and required files, like myself, you will be well-advised to always clear the output buffer prior to creating an image in php.
