原因分析：1 create is deprecated in maven 3.0.5 and beyond，在maven3.0.5以上版本舍弃了create，使用generate生成项目

                  2 本人的Maven仓库里边少了两个jar包ojdbc5和logback-extensions，把这两个jar包拷贝复制到本地Maven仓库中。

在stackoverflow找到解决方式如下
mvn archetype:generate -DgroupId=org.sonatype.mavenbook.ch03 -DartifactId=simple -DpackageName=org.sonatype.mavenbook -DarchetypeArtifactId=maven-archetype-quickstart -DinteractiveMode=false

修改start命令为generate

把你的建项目的命令为：mvn archetype:create -DgroupId=org.sonatype.mavenbook.ch03 -DartifactId=simple -DpackageName=org.sonatype.mavenbook中

archetype:create命令改成archetype:generate
就可以用了

 

在eclipse里边检查Tomcat的Deploy path:工作目录和Timeouts的最大启动时间，防止时间设定短报错。

不要使用脚本命令启动

在services下边的Tomcat右击Add ang Remove把项目添加进去，点击Finish.即OK.
