Install the database vault

After install the database vault we find it with the following SQL.

 

SQL> SELECT * FROM V$OPTION
  2  WHERE PARAMETER = 'Oracle Database Vault';

PARAMETER                                                        VALUE
---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------
-
Oracle Database Vault                                            TRUE

But we still need a configuration before using it.

Because there is no schema to hold the database vault objects.

SQL> select owner,OBJECT_NAME from dba_objects where OBJECT_NAME='DBMS_MACADM';

configure with dbca it is very simple:

 

After configuration the query should return the result;
