Solution    
This error is due to a change to 7.2 that only affects countries or system that uses alaw. This affects alaw installations of GVP with OSR and MRCP and they should change the OSR configuration to match the requirement below:

** WARNING **| 23100| UNKERR| unknown error| _dowrite | invalid media type audio/x-alaw-basic

It means the Baseline.xml in the following directory is no set correctly

C:\Program Files\SpeechWorks\OpenSpeech Recognizer\config

Please check: swirec_audio_media_type and swiep_audio_media_type is set to (and only to): audio/x-alaw-basic;rate=8000

instead of: audio/basic;rate=8000

After this change is made, restart the SWMS server to have the change take effect.
