软件版本：

OS: Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 Update 4

Database: MySQL 5.2.0

安装过程代码：

 

#cd /usr/local
#tar -xvzf /home/soft/mysql-5.2.0-falcon-alpha-linux-i686-glibc23.tar.gz
#mv mysql-5.2.0-falcon-alpha-linux-i686-glibc23 mysql                   ;rename to 'mysql'
#cp /usr/local/mysql/support-files/my-medium.cnf /etc/my.cnf
#less /etc/group               ;check if there is a group named 'mysql',press 'q' to leave
#less /etc/passwd              ;check if there is a user named 'mysql', press 'q' to leave
#groupadd mysql
#useradd -g mysql mysql
#cd /usr/local/mysql
#./scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql
#chown -R mysql data
#chown -R .
#./bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql
mysql> show databases;
mysql> use mysql;
mysql> update user set password=PASSWORD('xxx') where user='root';
mysql> quit
Bye
#cd /etc/rc.d/init.d/
#cp /usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server mysql
#/sbin/chkconfig --del mysql
#/sbin/chkconfig --add mysql
#reboot
#/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql -u root -p
