The characteristics for all Objects are collected in one panel, the Object Dictionary. This Dictionaryrepresents the Interface for the EtherCAT master. In this paragraph we classify the objects into threedifferent Object Codes: VARIABLE, ARRAY and RECORD. The VARIABLE includes just one basedata type as one object. The ARRAY is a collection of identical base data types as one object. TheRECORD includes a collection of different base data types as one object.

NOTE: 16.32 and 64Bit entries shall always start at an even WORD address. Otherwise enhancements in the object read/write functions are required.
