今天用虚拟机安装RedHat，碰见了这个问题，如下图：原因：vmware默认是虚拟的scsi硬盘，上面的错误就是由vmware软件本身引起的。解决方法：删除scsi硬盘， 添加一个ide硬盘即可。我也是从网络上Google了一下明白的。特记录！！！

最后拆机发现电源线只连接了一个！把另外一个连接了在开机nvidia-smi就能用了。lspci|grep -i vga 发现显卡能显示。用网上的方法不安装带有open字样的驱动，依然失败。如果有人排查到最后都不行不妨拆机看看电源线。nvcc -V发现cuda已经安装好了。系统Ubuntu20.04。
