 esc command mode
   q! exist and discarding changes
   i  insert
   a  append
   x  delete a character
   dw delete a word
   dd delete a line
   3dd delete 3 lines
   u  undo previous change
   ZZ exist, saving changes
   hjkl same as arrow keys
   /  search forward
   ? search back
    n repeat the same forward search
    N repeat the opposite direction
   ( beginning of sentence
   ) end of sentence
   { beginning of paragraph
   } end of paragraph
   w forward one word
   b back one word
   :set nu  Display line number
   :set nonu Hide line number

   G   move to the last line in the file
  xG   move to line x
