Architect (Technical Leader)

Responsibilities:

Each TIBCO CDC engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of select products in TIBCO’s B2B suite as defined in section 1.5. The TIBCO CDC engineers will form a B2B team in China and will work closely with the B2B team in Palo Alto to enhance TIBCO’s B2B suite. TIBCO's B2B suite consists of a standards-based business-to-business integration platform for enabling the secure transmission of business documents and messages among disparate partner systems. Some of the standards-based B2B protocols supported include EDI, RosettaNet, SOAP, ebXML, etc. The engineers will be required to take functional requirements and implement them with minimal supervision from their supervisor or system architect. The engineers will also be required to work with colleagues from different functional groups, such as QA, technical publications, technical support, etc.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years industry experience in software and solution development with extensive Java and Object-Oriented programming experience.
• Experience building B2B products/protocols is highly desired, e.g. RosettaNet, EDI, SOAP, ebXML, etc. Experience with XML, XML Schema and other XML related technologies.
• Experience with Internet Security, Web Servers, Internet Transports (HTTP/s, AS1, AS2, etc).
• Experience with Database technologies - Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, JDBC.
• Experience building Server software.
• Experience on projects utilizing full life-cycle system delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Unix and Windows.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• B.S. Computer Science required., M.S. Computer Science preferred.
