RedHat 安装Jdk1.4 出现tail: cannot open `+511' for reading 问题

今天在我的FC5上安装JDK1.4.2的时候遇到如下错误，

(转者注:我是在Redhat5.2上安装发现这样的问题,　使用下面的方法可以解决)

在SUN的论坛上找到的解决方法是：
# change posix version for compatability for .bin to unpack
export _POSIX2_VERSION=199209
./j2sdk-1_4_2_11-linux-i586.bin

# and then change back
export _POSIX2_VERSION=200112 (fedora core 5)
