mkdir /redis/run -pv
mkdir /redis/db -pv
cp /redis/redis-3.0.5/redis.conf /redis/conf
cd src
cp redis-benchmark redis-check-aof redis-check-dump redis-cli redis-server mkreleasehdr.sh /redis/
/redis/redis-server /redis/conf/redis.conf
#The server is now ready to accept connections on
#port 6379
#Use command 'make install' to install
#currently the server run as front. need modify the redis.conf file: daemonize yes
#to find the port number
netstat -lnp | grep redis
Set password
find the line requirepass in redis.conf and then set the password
Let Redis start when server up
modify the file under /etc/rc.local
add below command:
/redis/redis-server /redis/conf/redis.conf
