第七届中国开源年会 COSCon’22 在十月的最后一个周末完美收官，此次大会采用元宇宙+多城线下分会场同步联动的创新方式，令人耳目一新。

The 7th Annual China Open Source Conference (COSCon’22) came to a successful conclusion in late October. The conference adopted the metaverse style in synchrony with offline sessions held in many cities. The innovative way allowed the audiences to find everything fresh and new here.

在两日的精彩活动中，共有 173 位开源专家为大家带来 164 个主题分享，其中有：代表国际前沿的 LF AI & Data 基金会执行董事 Dr. Ibrahim Haddad、GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke；开源社区领袖，如 Apache 软件基金会 2022 年度董事暨 ALC Beijing 发起人姜宁、CNCF 云原生计算基金会中国区总监暨 Linux 基金会亚太区战略总监 Keith Chan；学界开源先行者，如中科院计算所副所长暨北京开源芯片研究院首席科学家包云岗、华东师范大学研究员暨开源社副理事长王伟；企业开源先锋：如百度、字节跳动、华为、开务、VMWare 和微众银行的技术专家；新锐企业如 API7、Timecho、白鲸开源等公司的创业领袖……精彩的主题分享、思想碰撞下干货满满的圆桌讨论，让人意犹未尽。

With splendid sharing meetings plus essential learning materials coming from fierce ideological collisions in the round table discussion, the attendees found themselves cannot get enough of it. The two-day activities witnessed sharing sessions on 164 topics from 173 open-source experts, including Dr. Ibrahim Haddad, Executive Director of LF AI & Data; Thomas Dohmke, CEO of GitHub, both representing the international frontier; Open-source community leaders such as Jiang Ning, Director of the Apache Software Foundation 2022 and Founder of ALC Beijing, Keith Chan, Reginal Director of CNCF Cloud Native Computing Foundation China and Director of Strategy for Linux Foundation Asia Pacific. There are also trailblazers in the field of academia, such as Bao Yungang, Deputy Director of the Institute of Computing and Chief Scientist of Beijing Open Source Chip Research Institute, and Wang Wei, Fellow Researcher of East China Normal University and Vice Chairman of Kai Yuan She. Also, the enterprise's open-source pioneers actively shared their insights and practices, such as technical experts from Baidu, ByteDance, Huawei, Kaiwu, VMWare, and WeBank. To name just a few, leaders from outstanding start-ups: API7, Timecho, and WhaleOps Open Source Technology also attended this activity. 

本次 COSCon’22 共设有 16 个分论坛，在论坛设定上具有极强的多样性，既有云计算、大数据、人工智能等技术论坛，也有开源公益、开源文化、开源商业等方向，吸引了海内外的开源爱好者在线上和线下与我们共同享受开源的乐趣，更有元宇宙马拉松等新奇活动，体验妙趣横生。

There were 16 sub-forums of the conference set in COSCon'22, demonstrating great diversity. In addition to the technology forums such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence, the conference also covered the directions of Open Source Public Welfare, Open Source Culture, and Open Source Business. The followers at home and abroad were attracted and joined us to share the joy of using the online-to-offline model. The Metaverse Marathon, one of the creative activities held online, catered to the participants for a fantastic experience.

根据会后数据统计，本次两天大会线上合计 337,003 人次观看，吸引注册报名人数 1,673 人；参与的机构多达数 1,220家，包含 500+ 不同的工作岗位；数据显示，关注浏览活动官网者高达 14,668 人次，整体曝光量为 375,557。

According to the post-conference statistics, the online viewership of the two-day conference reached a total of 337,003 people and 1,673 registrants. Up to 1,220 institutions participated, including over 500 different positions; The number of netizens, who followed and browsed the official website, reached a high record of 14,668; And 375,557 people accounted for the overall exposure.

除了线上的精彩内容，包括北京、深圳、上海、成都、温州、无锡、杭州、苏州以及大连的九个线下城市聚会也是精彩纷呈，疫情的反复虽然没办法让我们线下大团聚，但每个城市的线下小聚，也给了我们弥足珍贵的温暖。

Apart from the highlights online, the activities offline from nine cities—— the Co-hosted venues (Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chengdu, Wenzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Dalian) also gave full play to their captivating performance. Although the recurrence of the epidemic stopped us from having a big offline reunion, the offline gatherings in each city also gave us precious warmth.

同时，本次开源年会的成功举办也离不开每一位志愿者的辛勤付出，大会共有 174 名来自全国各地线上与线下的志愿者参与其中， 共同创造了这样一场盛大的开源盛会。

These achievements are inseparable from the174 online and offline volunteers' hard work. They jointly contribute to such an extraordinary Open Source Conference.

今年我们聊 Open The World，聊开源站在十字路口，而明年我们该讨论什么还不得而知，2023 的开源故事需要每一个人去谱写，我们还要一起走过很长的路，探索未知又精彩的世界，记录不同的风景。

The topic for this year is Open the World. Standing at the crossroad, we have yet to learn about the new theme next year. It's the story of every individual to compose a new chapter of the Open Source Story in 2013. The road ahead will be long, and the world waiting for us is ulterior, mysterious, yet marvelous. Let’s move forward in union and keep track of the scenery along the way.
