vlan组播功能测试

1. 配置环境

scenario1:

Server and Client in same Vlan or same subnet, and pc ethernet interface doesn't support vlan.in this circumstance, Client can get multicast packets correctly.

scenario2:

Server and Client in different Vlan, and pc ethernet interface doesn't support vlan. In this circumstance, Client will get multicast packets with 802.1Q Tag. If the client can not interpret packets correctly, the multicast software may not using.

2. 在Extreme switch中配置imgpv3, igmp pim-dm 和igmp snooping

enable igmp igmpv3

configure vlan HQ_10_0_1 ipaddress 10.0.1.2 255.255.255.0

configure vlan HQ_10_0_2 ipaddress 10.0.2.2 255.255.255.0

configure ospf add vlan all(or HQ_10_0_1) area 0.0.0.0

enable ipforwarding (and HQ_10_0_1)

enable ospf

enable ipmcforwarding

configure pim add vlan all(or HQ_10_0_1) dense

enable pim

configure igmp snooping <vlan name> ports <switch port> add static group <multicast group ip address>
