Wi-Fi display typical issues

1. connection failure

check p2p connection or RTSP 

p2p scan/p2p connect  (Airsniffer log/wpa_supplicant log)

dhcp  (tcpdump)

RTSP (option request/response, get_parameter/set_parameter, setup, play)   (tcpdump)

RTSP has 5 second timeout, this often cause connection failure especially WiFi also transfer data or search

2. display black or abnormal

disable hdcp, check if it's OK or not, if ok, then probably hdcp issue, if not OK, then not related hdcp.

first check yuv dump (from Graphics, SurfaceFlinger, if it's not OK, then check SurfaceFlinger/hwc)

if yuv ok, then check 264 dump, if 264 not OK, need check video driver.

if it's OK, then check mux data. if not ok, then mux issue, if mux is OK. then proably WiFi transfer issue.

3. audio not good or not heard

not heard, probably audio route not OK, need check audio route.

not good, first check pcm data, if not ok, then it's audio issue. if it's OK, then check audio encoding.

4. hdcp issue
