Input-Process-Output
Procedure:
- Understand the problem
- Identify the outputs
- Decide the type of data
- Design an algorithm
Design Algorithm:
- Analysis task
- Solve the problem by hand
- Solve a single task at a time
- Writing down the steps (ensure the steps can solve the tasks)
Other useful:
- Try to solve the problem by hand
- Write down what have done
- Find a pattern
- Check it again by hand
- Translate to code
- Run test cases
- Debug

Debugger
To use the debugger, the programmer must set a Breakpoint.
A breakpoint is used to pause the execution of the program:
• Pressing F9 will set a breakpoint on the line the cursor is currently on…
• Alternatively, you can click in the grey margin…
Run the program with F5, not CTRL-F5!
• CTRL-F5 runs the program without the debugger…
• The programmer can then step one instruction at a time using the debugger…
• Pressing F10 will step the program one instruction at a time…
• Pressing F5 will resume normal execution of the program…
Press F5 to run the program and purpose on the breakpoint
or
Now the program is running, with the debugger enabled.
Single instruction stepping…
Remember F10
Programmer can check every part of coding by setting breakpoint.
