Applications Engineer, II (Frontend) - Shanghai

Responsibilities

Have a strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and/or CAD engineering. The main focus is on the timing analysis and optimization in the design implementation flow. As an Applications Engineer, responsibilities include providing technical support to field engineers and customers, writing and reviewing methodology specs, and functional specs, development and delivery of product training, writing technical papers and application notes.  Drives existing product directionand suggests new product direction.
 

Requirements

Strong communication, English skills arerequired. The individual will have regular and proactive communication with R&D and field Application Engineers and act as a technical expert. Must be familiar with one or more of the following tools, Design Compiler, IC Compiler, IC Compiler II, PrimeTime, or competitive timing analysis tools. 
 
Requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. BSEE minimum and MSEE preferred. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Has working knowledge of work area and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
