Crystal Reports for Eclipse version 2.0,  下面是安装的方法

• 如果你已经安装了eclipse 3.4.1或以上的版本, 你可以通过 Eclipse Update Manager  或 manual installation 来安装;
• 如果你没有 eclipse 3.4.1或以上的版本, 你可以直接下载 All-In-One 包来安装;
• 如果你的IDE 不是eclipse, 没关系, 你可以下载 runtime libraries 用于其他的IDE;
• 安装完以后, 你可以选择下载  language pack 来汉化CR4E, 当然你不选择这个也是没问题的.

以上是官方的说法

 

        我本人在eclipse3.4.0, 3.4.1和3.4.2 上都安装不了, 3.4.0和3.4.1都是 wst 过低, 里面是要求3.0, 3.4.2是安装过程中出现错误

用myeclipse 7.0 装, 在安装过程中验证pofile什么的, 一直卡死在那里.

最后是下载了All-In-One Installation, OK. 再用Eclipse Update Manager来安装第一个汉化包.

不得不说啊, 相比 eclipse3.2 , eclipse3.4 安装插件真是恶心呐, 很多要网上更新, 速度超慢.

 

        现在的版本是 Crystal Reports 2008, 还不错

      在eclipse 3.4 添加不到 Crystal Reports 插件, 我很不甘心呐. 通过对 All-In-One 解压后的eclipse3.4.1 进行分析后发现, 里面安装了J2EE Standard Tools, 会不会是这个区别呢.

 

      我立马下载了一个Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers (163 MB) , 注意是ganymede , 不要是 Europa 和Galibeo(这个应该是3.5的), eclipse 的版本是 3.4.2,  用 Eclipse Update Manager 安装Crystal Reports 2.0 及其汉化包, 成功!

 

      我把刚装的Crystal Reports 2.0 及其汉化包删除, 重启eclipse, 发现Crystal Reports 没了.

 

      现在用另外一种安装插件的方法, 在dropins 文件夹(如果在eclipse下面没有, 建立一个), 在其里面建立一个叫 CR4E的文件夹, 把通过 Manual Installation  下载的包里面的features 和 plugins 文件夹解压到这个文件夹, 结果是 eclipse/dropins/CR4E/features 和 eclipse/dropins/CR4E/plugins , 重启eclipse, 如果发现没有Crystal Reports, 可以删除eclipse主目录下的/configuration/org.eclipse.update后，再执行eclipse -clean试试。我是成功把这个Crystal Reports 插件安装了.

 

     所以安装这个插件的必要环境, 官方没完全写清楚, 那就是还必须要 j2ee 插件

 

     为了证明我这个说法, 我在一个纯 eclipse 3.4.1 的Eclipse Update Manager 安装 Java EE Developer Tools (http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede        Java Development ->Java EE Developer Tools), 然后再安装 Crystal Reports 2.0, 成功!

更新内容之我见

 

1. 通过使用, 我觉得最大的不同就是多了 "Crystal Reports Java 项目",

 

2. 原来数据连接窗口 "Database Explorer" 改为 "Data Source Explorer", 当然不只是改名字而已, 数据源的选择不止数据库连接而已了, 多了flat file, web services 和xml 作为数据源的选择.   "Data Source Explorer" 并且改正了 "Database Explorer"  读数据库元素不准确的 bug.

 

3. "Data Source Explorer" 可以说是在逐渐接近 ".net" 中水晶报表的"数据库专家" 了.

 

4. 可以选择 Excel 导出了.

 

5. 稳定性提高了, 不会像1.0版本一样容易导致 eclipse  挂掉.

 

6. 界面变漂亮, 操作更加人性化.
