Earnestly fulfill the promise

Last Wednesday, I went to study dance in Broadview headquarters. The dance started at 4:00 , I arrived there at 3:45. Just arrived there, Snake one of my colleagues who is in the market  Department gave me a call. He let me take two books for him when I come back.  I promised him. I had to got these books from Ms.Pan, but she did not have books at that time . She let me upstairs to dance first and I would get the books at the end of the dance at 18:30 when I back from the upstair. So I went to dance allocated. After the practice, I went back to their office,Ms.Pan had left the office . I did not find the two books on her table. Then I gave her the phone and asked her where were the books which she allowed to give me.Though, she told me that her forgot it. Finally, I had to go home first, and then took the books next time.  

Thursday morning, I called my colleagues snake, he asked whether I have bring the book back. I told him the truth, he gave me some criticism which is very very harsh. He said that you did not bring back the book, why did not let me know it ?If ourself can’t pay attentions to our own affairs,how to other people treat seriously? After listening the words which he said, I felt very sad. Because the matter did not as he imagined. I would also want to get the book in hand and then upstairs to dance. But Ms.Pan had no book at that time, she needed to go elsewhere to obtain also. However, I thought his word later,some of the words were justified in fact. Since I did not complete his account of the matter, it should have prior noticed, which is where I was wrong.

Although this is a little matter, but I know that I’m very careless. Promised something of someone, it should seriously to accomplished. If the things can not be achieved for some reason, I should also tell him the the reasons at time. Otherwise, it will affect the arrangements of him in this matter. In addition, others will think you are a very unreliable person who is not worthy of trust.

I will remember this affair which has brought me a lesson. And I will remember that if I promised to do  something for someone I should take it seriously. In addition, all the things that should be considered thoroughly,  should considerate for others everytime else.
