Job Description
Job Title	Software Release Engineer

JOB TITLE:

Position Summary:
% of time on task	Responsibilities
1.        60%	Be responsible for release of final software product package and interim software development releases.
25%	Develop automatic test build scripts. Maintain release repository and update Wiki with release notes
2.        15%	Coordinate with development teams in release and test execution. Validate, document and present SW releases and release notes.

Requirements: Skills and knowledge that are necessary for the performance of the job, i.e. Degree & area of study, computer skills, technical knowledge, required abilities, areas and number of years of related experience, etc.  (Please put in order of importance.)
1.       Engineering background, wireless testing field preferred.
2.       2-3 years of software release or QA experience with BSEE or BSCS  - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
3.       Knowledge of wireless testing technologies, including cellular (LTE, Td-SCDMA, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, cdma2000) , WiFi, WiMAX, BlueTooth etc.
4.       Capable of developing build scripts for automated builds.
5.       Familiar with SVN (SW configuration management) and Jira (defect tracking) a plus.
6.       Familiar with C, C++ and/or C# a plus.
7.       Capable of requirement gathering, analysis and documentation.
8.       Self motivated, efficient and reliable. Excellent communication skills.
9.       Must be capable of verbal and written English
