"select ... for update" in eXtremeDB

select ... for update语句是我们经常使用手工加锁语句。通常情况下，select语句是不会对数据加锁，妨碍影响其他的DML和DDL操作。同时，在多版本一致读机制的支持下，select语句也不会被其他类型语句所阻碍。借助for update子句，我们可以在应用程序的层面手工实现数据加锁保护操作。 但是很遗憾，在eXtremeDB中，SQL引擎不支持select ... for update 的操作。 Databases’ SELECT FOR UPDATE locks the result set (either the records in the set or pages) and allows to modify it; its also sometime possible to create a version with the “old” state of the database. Normally FOR UPDATE is used from a procedural languages. (PL/SQL for instance) eXtremeDB simply creates a RW transaction, consequently in MVCC the updates are possible while MIRSIW blocks the updates. The practical implication for us is to be able to modify the database from a user-defined function called from the SELECT statement
