Linux 6.5下安装EMC powerpath多路径软件安装

本实验使用rhel6.5 x64操作系统。

如下仅为简单配置，如有更详细配置方式，请务必依据EMC存储工程师建议配置。

1、上传EMC存储多路径软件包至/目录，上传文件为：EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.1.00.00-043.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm

[root@lk ~]# cd /

[root@lk /]# ls

bin                                              home        misc  root     tmp

boot                                             lib         mnt   sbin     u01

dev                                              lib64       net   selinux  usr

EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.1.00.00-043.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm  lost+found  opt   srv      var

etc                                              media       proc  sys

2、安装EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.1.00.00-043.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm

[root@lk /]# chmod 777 EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.1.00.00-043.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm

[root@lk /]# rpm -ivh EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.1.00.00-043.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm

NOTE:License registration is not required to manage the CLARiiON AX series array .

*** IMPORTANT ***

Please check the following configurations before starting PowerPath:

   - Add _netdev to /etc/fstab mount options for PowerPath pseudo devices.

   - Ensure netfs service is started.

     netfs service is needed to mount devices with _netdev option.

   - Set LVM filter in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf according to PowerPath recommendation.

   - Blacklist all devices in /etc/multipath.conf and stop multipathd service.

   - Install PowerPath license(s) and ensure that policy is not set to BasicFail

over.

   - If no license is available, ensure that only one HBA port is active in the

host.

     PowerPath supports only single-HBA configuration when unlicensed.

Refer to PowerPath Installation and Administration Guide for details.

3、为多路径软件注册License（注：license由EMC原厂提供，以下格式仅为说明此操作，非真实License）

查看emcpreg命令使用方法：

[root@lk /]# emcpreg

Usage:

    emcpreg [opts] -add key [key ...]

    emcpreg [opts] -remove key [key ...]

    emcpreg [opts] -check key [key ...]

    emcpreg [opts] -list

    emcpreg [opts] -edit

    emcpreg [opts] -install

Options:

    -f file     license file

注册License：

[root@lk /]# emcpreg -add key A3DF-3BDD-UHYT-CD6F-EV74-KJUT

Key key is invalid, ignored.

1 key(s) successfully added.

4、使用如下两种方式验证license已经安装成功：

[root@lk /]# emcpreg -list

Key  A3DF-3BDD-UHYT-CD6F-EV74-KJUT

  Product: PowerPath

  Capabilities: All

[ root@lk  ~]# powermt check_registration

Key  A3DF-3BDD-UHYT-CD6F-EV74-KJUT

  Product: PowerPath

  Capabilities: All

5、查看确认无powerpath服务：

[ root@lk  ~]# service powerpath status

powerpath: unrecognized service

[root@lk ~]# ps -ef |grep emc
