Cadence 16.2 and Pads 2007.4 安装攻略

issta :在XP sp3下，开始未指定license文件（建议运行MentorKG.exe，指向license.txt），安装完毕，首先运行MentorKG.exe，然后运行pads2007.4.bat，成功！

issta 2009.4.2---------------------------------------------------vista 64 bit ultimate:
tips：关闭放火杀毒软件1：运行MentorKG.exe,生成新的license.txt，选择默认的license安装方式，指向license.txt；
2：默认的工作目录名称之间不要有空格，该名称为PADS_Projects（个人习惯？避免带来麻烦？呵呵），选择安装目录
3：安装过程提示重新启动电脑，怀疑是sata硬盘接口需求的缘故，中间还有安装runtime之类的，全部接受即可
4：完成安装过程，最后提示出错，呵呵，似乎没关系的
5：以下破解开始：关闭放火杀毒软件
   修改Environment.reg中的目录为安装目录，更改所有盘符即可
   修改XX.bat文件里的安装目录为当前安装目录，基本上只更改所有盘符即可，save；
   运行.bat，wait a few seconds
   最后的注册表导入的过称如果会出错，单独手动导入注册表信息
   过程中环境变量都已经自动修改好了，不需要自己修改
6：install license file，就是执行开始菜单里那个带钥匙的图案，指向安装目录里的 licensefile.dat 文件，        例如    F:\MentorGraphics\2007.4PADS\licensefile.dat，覆盖或者add，我选择了add

1.Edit the license.dat file, replace this_host as your computer name, don't change any other data.
2.Install license server.
3.When the computer asks you to point to the license.dat, copy the edited license.dat file to folder X:\Cadence\license_manager and ponit to this file.
4.After installation license server, the environment parameter CD_LIC_File was set up by the computer automatically.
5.Install Allegro.
6.Copy shooters.exe to foler X:\Cadence. Run it.
7.If shooters.exe could not run well by the way in 6, please select "start->run", enter "cmd" and press return, then a dos command dialog pops up, then come to the folder
X:\cadence, run shooters.exe under this environment.
8. Restart the computer, enjoy spb162.

Crack instructions make it seem trickier than it actually is.
Here is what I did. 1. Run pads2007.4||+|++C+|-O|+|=+|+++---.bat
2. Run MakeLic.bat
3. Create folder FLEXlm on the install drive root directory
4. Copy Licensefile.dat and License.txt to FLEXlm, and rename Licensefile.dat to License.datFully functional. :)
