imitate sb/sth;whoever

SpongeBob imitates whoever he hears.

• imitate sb/sth 模仿 /ˈɪm.ə.teɪt/
• whoever pron. …的那个人/那些人；…的任何人 == anyone who

examples:

1. Her style of painting has been imitated by other artists. 她的绘画风格为其他回家所模仿。
2. Whoever says that is a liar. /ˈlaɪ.ɚ/ == anyone who says that is a liar. 说那话的人都是骗子。
3. I’ll take whoever wants to go. == I’ll take anyone who wants to go. 谁想去我就带谁去。

• hold v. 使保持（在某个位置）
• still adj. 静止的，不动的

examples:

1. This should help.Ah.Hold still, you little rascal ! = This should help(SpongeBob remember who he is).
2. Hold your head up. 抬起头来
3. hold the door open. 保持门开着
4. Can’t you sit still? 你就不能老老实实坐一会？
5. Whoever(或Anyone who) can hold still for two minutes will get the present. 谁能保持静止两分钟，谁就能得到礼物。
