Generally speaking, the rapidly growing market for the Internet of Things will affect every aspect of our lives. The only question is when you will jump on the bandwagon.

With the rapid development of society, consumption of luxury goods has become more and more popular among young people. According to a report from Bain & Company, partly because of the rise of China’s Generation Z (people born between 1995 and 2010), the country's luxury sales were estimated to grow by a stunning 48 percent in 2020, when the global luxury market declined at an expected rate of 23 percent. Data also show that young consumers between the ages of 18 and 29 account for over 57 percent of the consumers of high-end luxury beauty brands. Meanwhile, the post-90s generation has become the largest potential consumer group in luxury car industry. And then how did this happen? As the Chinese economy and society continue to advance while residents' income rises, more and more consumers have developed an awareness that they should spend money for themselves, consumer units in the country have also begun to shift from households to individuals, and that spending on personalized and brand products has grown rapidly. Moreover, as members of a highly consumption-oriented society, teenagers have become increasingly aware of new products and brands, which facilitates consumption of luxury goods among young people. In conclusion, the rise of young consumers in the market means that their personalized consumption of quality products can be prosperous, which is expected to promote industrial upgrading and bring enormous opportunities to the high-quality development of industries and economy.

Promising renewable energy source--solar energy
Over the past decades, new kinds of renewable energy sources have been found and gradually form a discussion among the public and scientists about the most promising renewable energy source. In my opinion, the solar energy is the most promising one.
Solar energy is a free renewable resource, given the constant supply of sunlight from the sun all year round in most countries, which is harnessed from the sun to power homes, businesses, and gadgets. The solar energy is converted to electric energy to enable its use in electrical gadgets and other devices. This is aided by the use of solar panels and solar cells which are sensitive to light from the sun. So, it is sure that the application of solar energy is promising.
However, what can't be ignored is that other renewable energies such as wind energy, geothermal energy, biomass energy, ocean energy and hydrogen energy are developing at a fast rate, and become more and more popular in some countries. Are some of them more promising than solar energy? As they have their own advantages, in some fields it can be, but overall solar energy is still worth its position. Here are some reasons.
First, solar energy can be used and acquired widely. No matter it's house or factory, solar energy can be utilized if there exists adequate sunlight, and even unused land can be used to set up solar farms. Second, solar systems are easy to maintain compared to other sources of energy. Once the installation is done, the only work done to the solar panels is regular cleaning of the panels to remove dust particles as a way of increasing sensitivity to the sun, which makes it cheap in the long run. Third, the use of solar energy is encouraged in many countries. In the US, the government is encouraging the use of solar energy. It is doing so not only by creating public awareness but also by providing 30% tax credit of the expenses used in the installation of the solar systems.
Generally speaking, looking at the global picture, solar energy can be the most promising energy source and in the near future, it's sure that solar energy will be attached more importance to.

It can be seen from the date report that a great number of graduate students experience mental health problem, and women experience more mental health problems than men among college students. For the first part, there is an alternative explanation that graduate students are facing the stresses from part-time job or high tuition, as well as further and difficult studies which disturb these young adults’ mind and affect their behaviors. For the second part, as is known to all, women are more sensitive and sentimental than men. Therefore, colorful but busy college life and heavy academic pressure can make women more possible to be anxious and depressed than men, who have higher mental resilience. So, college students should try to keep a good attitude toward college life and as stress can’t be avoided, self-adjusting methods need to be used.

In recent years, distracted driving has been increasingly prioritized in road safety planning in China. In this essay, its effects and alternative solutions will be mentioned.
Distraction involves a diversion of attention from driving, because the driver is temporarily focused on something not related to driving, which reduces the driver’s awareness, decision-making and performances, leading to an increased risk of corrective actions, near-crashes or crashes. Up to now, there have been a great number of traffic accidents related to distracted driving.
Then, considering the two major roles in distracted driving, the car and the driver, some solutions can be involved. For the car, a particular system can be designed to monitor the driver’s condition, which will help increase driver’s attention and secure driver’s life, but it will also add the cost of driving. For the driver, cultivating a good driving habit will be of great benefits. Avoid texting or using handheld or hands-free phone while driving, and talking with passengers should be prohibited. As this solution is easy to take and can really improve current situation, it’s not easy to maintain. Generally speaking, in the long run, the second solution should be the most effective, because it can basically influence people’s opinions about distracted driving and help the formation of safer traffic environment.
In conclusion, as distracted driving is developing so quickly in China, good solutions should be taken as soon as possible to combat distracted driving.

An argument on university education
With the development of society, more and more students have access to university education in China, and thus incurs a discussion on university education among the public.
On the one hand, some people think too many students go to university. In fact, it’s sure that the large number of graduates from the university has put high pressure on the job market and leads to a waste of resources. On the other hand, some others claim that a university education should be a universal right. As millions of new jobs have been created in knowledge industries, and these jobs are typically open only to university graduates, closing the entrance of someone to the university is inequal.
In my opinion, every person should have the right to university education which bases on their own choices, because education is an important way to a higher social status for common people. Moreover, as the whole society takes education seriously and values it greatly, continuing to invest on it to seek for future development will be a better choice. Furthermore, highly educated people can make greater influence on the development of the country.
Generally speaking, university education should be an alternative thing for the public, and more importance needs to be attached to university education.
