CentOS 7 安装Oracle VirtualBox

在学习docker的过程中，如果是Linux操作系统，创建docker machine 时需要在linux下安装virtualbox的驱动，有如下命令：

docker-machine create --driver virtualbox myvm1

 

安装步骤如下：

1.运行下面的shell，将ol7_addons（Oracle Linux的源）添加到yum源：

cat << EOF | sudo tee /etc/yum.repos.d/ol7_addons.repo
[ol7_addons]
name=Oracle Linux $releasever Add ons (\$basearch)
baseurl=http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL7/addons/\$basearch/
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-oracle
gpgcheck=1
enabled=1
EOF
# Verify this manually if you're paranoid like me
sudo rpm --import http://public-yum.oracle.com/RPM-GPG-KEY-oracle-ol7
sudo yum makecache

 

 

 

2. yum安装VirtualBox

 

yum install VirtualBox-5.2

3.安装好VirtualBox后运行“docker-machine create --driver virtualbox myvm1” 仍然会报错

docker-machine create --driver virtualbox myvm1
Running pre-create checks...
Error with pre-create check: "We support Virtualbox starting with version 5. Your VirtualBox install is \"WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module\\n         available for the current kernel (3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64) or it failed to\\n         load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by\\n\\n           sudo /sbin/vboxconfig\\n\\n         You will not be able to start VMs until this problem is fixed.\\n5.2.0r118431\". Please upgrade at https://www.virtualbox.org"

 

 

 

4.根据提示去运行“sudo /sbin/vboxconfig”,仍会报错：

 

[root@localhost ~]# sudo /sbin/vboxconfig
vboxdrv.sh: Stopping VirtualBox services.
vboxdrv.sh: Building VirtualBox kernel modules.
This system is currently not set up to build kernel modules.
Please install the Linux kernel "header" files matching the current kernel
for adding new hardware support to the system.
The distribution packages containing the headers are probably:
    kernel-devel 

This system is currently not set up to build kernel modules.
Please install the Linux kernel "header" files matching the current kernel
for adding new hardware support to the system.
The distribution packages containing the headers are probably:
    kernel-devel kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64

There were problems setting up VirtualBox.  To re-start the set-up process, run
  /sbin/vboxconfig
as root.

5.继续根据报错提示，安装kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64

 

 

yum -y install kernel-devel-3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64

 

 

6.安装完成后再运行“sudo /sbin/vboxconfig”，成功：

[root@localhost ~]# sudo /sbin/vboxconfig
vboxdrv.sh: Stopping VirtualBox services.
vboxdrv.sh: Building VirtualBox kernel modules.
vboxdrv.sh: Starting VirtualBox services.

7.注意如果Linux是虚拟机，要在BIOS里面打开VT-X/AMD-v

8.现在可以成功的创建docker machine了:

[root@localhost ~]# docker-machine create --driver virtualbox myvm1
