2022 Personal Summary

1. Write in Front

I had this idea very early on, to record myself every year, summarize the gains and shortcomings of this year, and compare whether I have made progress and whether my life has become better? Think about the direction of the future. Now (1:32 AM) I can finally calm myself down and write down the bits and pieces of this year.

2. Confused

Just entering a new field of study, especially computer science, I think everyone will be confused. Although the freshman year is not over yet, I can’t help but feel more pressure and motivation when I see people who are better than me.
When I first got in this campus, I wanted to learn C language as soon as possible, and my hard work paid off. After two months of study and persistent practice of solving problems (LeetCode+PTA), I think I probably have a good grasp. In addition, I also learned Java, and wrote a small game (snake) with Java with Jframe like, which also made me understand the essential difference between process-oriented and object-oriented programming.
However, I’m still lost.
I thought about learning some Linux kernel module programming skills during the winter vacation, but the knowledge system in this field is too complicated, and I don’t really want to be in this industry. My interest in Linux is to understand some underlying things. I want to understand how Linux works, specifically how computers work, which of course involves operating systems, and Linux is a great option, which really excites me! I like to get to the bottom of it, there is no doubt about it, but if I turn my interest into my future work, probably, this is how people’s passion will be destroyed.

3. Direction

A few days ago, I watched a sophomore blogger share his learning experience on CSDN. I was really excited. Maybe it was an article that changed a person’s fate. He’s doing Java, and he’s doing it very well and successfully, which makes me very excited. Because I heard before that it is generally better to start Java in the third year, and no one learns Java at the beginning. When I first heard this, I was really shocked, because I really like the design idea of Java but I can’t learn it very deeply.
But now, I have no worries. I can freely soar in the Java world, and I want to put my energy and thinking on Java and the technologies involved.
One sentence is very good, if the knowledge learned is not used, it is equivalent to learning in vain. So I want to organize the knowledge I have learned into a blog. On the one hand, it can spread knowledge, on the other hand, it can increase my impression, thereby improving the learning effect. I think this is the significance of blogging. So, I will stick to blogging.

4. Conclusion

I hope that when I write my 2023 personal summary next year, I can write a lot!
