昨天参加了Oracle 1+1 客户服务交流日,谈到10g 和ｅｂｕｓｉｎｅｓｓ的升级,根据它的presentation,在这里做个大概的描述.

数据库升级到10g r2

步骤: preparation -> Upgrade -> News -> Clean up -> Tuning

升级的方法:
1.DBUA
图形界面的升级方法,dbua -help 显示命令帮助,只支持oracle db 8.1.7.4后的版本
2.手工升级
专家级的升级方法,安全并且成功率高,需时较少
3.Full Export /Import
灵活性大,支持字符串,操作系统类的数据库升级,需时比较长
4.Sql*plus -copy
局限比较大.

手工升级:
Change a new server --
1) Install Oracle 10g software
2) Copy utlu102i.sql
3) Run utlu102i.sql
4) Shutdown database
5) Copy all relevant files
6) Apply suggested changes
7) Start the upgrade process

normal:
1. complete online backup of the database
2. install 10g Oracle software
3. Analyze the DB using utlu102i.sql and follow all requirements given by the script
4. Switch to the new enviroment ,startup the DB and create the SYSAUX tablespace
5 Run upgrade script catupgrd.sql and afterwards recompile : utlrp.sql
6 check the post upgrade status :utlu102s.sql
