Ptxdist might be familiar to some programmers for it providing a way to build toolchains as convenient as one stop shopping. All one needs is to sit before the computer downloading necessary packages and issuing some routine commands, then just waiting for all is ready.
However there might be a problem during the build process especially if one want to use the latest ptxdist and toolchain to build BSP for mini6410. It complained that it requires libmount to build the mount utility.
At first I didn’tgo that deep so I just build util-linux and installed all of them into the sysroot, however it still didn’t work. So I check the template rules under ptxdist installation path, it does manifest that mount requires libmount. However, the dependency seems implicit when consideration is given to another similar case. So I check the selected_ptxconfigand under the current BSP project and find the corresponding section. After explicitly declaring that PTXCONF_UTIL_LINUX_LIBMOUNT=y, the problem was finally solved.
Hope it will be helpful to others.
