How to decompile jar file?

1.  Download jad.exe from

http://varaneckas.com/jad/

 

2. Download jad eclipse pluginnet.sf.jadclipse_3.3.0.jar from http://sourceforge.net/projects/jadclipse/

 

3. Put net.sf.jadclipse_3.3.0.jar into plugins folder of your eclipse

 

4.Restart eclipse and do setting

1)Window -> Preferences -> Java -> JadClipsein eclipse

Set <path to decompiler>the path of jad.exe you download in step 1

 

2)Window -> Preferences -> General -> Editors -> File Associations

Select *.class without source in filetypes

Then click Add button of Associated editors，set JadClipse Class File Viewer todefault

 

5.Then you can add jar file you want to see to a new project, project ->properties -> java build path –> add external jars

 

6.You can find jar under project -> referenced library, open .jar file andclick .class file, you can see the source codes now.
