当我们说住在一栋公寓或是房子时，用的是 in 这个介词。例如 live in a house, live in an apartment 等。但是注意了，当你说"我住在学校"时，不能说 "I live in school."，而应该说 "I live on campus." 或是 "I live in school housing."。同理，"住在学校外"也不应该说 "I live out of school."，正确的讲法是 "I live off campus." 基本上 on campus，和 off campus 都是固定的用法。
