SELECT names

This tutorial uses the LIKE operator to check names. We will be using the SELECT command on the table world: （本节要求在上表world中，使用like操作符进行一些操作。）

题目13：

Find the capital and the name where the capital includes the name of the country.

(查找首都和国家，条件是首都字符串包含国家字符串。)

解题13：

SELECT capital, name 
FROM world 
WHERE capital LIKE CONCAT('%',name,'%')

 

题目14：

 Find the capital and the name where the capital is an extension of name of the country.

You should include Mexico City as it is longer than Mexico.

You should not include Luxembourg as the capital is the same as the country.

（查找首都和国家，其中首都是国家字符串的拓展。不包含首都与国家字符串相同的情况。）

解题14：

SELECT capital, name 
FROM world 
WHERE capital LIKE CONCAT('%',name,'%') 
AND capital <> name 

题目15：

For Monaco-Ville the name is Monaco and the extension is -Ville.

Show the name and the extension where the capital is an extension of name of the country.

You can use the SQL function REPLACE.

（Monaco-Ville是国家Monaco的首都，且其拓展指的是-Ville；查找国家和其后缀，其中首都是国家名称的拓展。）

SELECT name, REPLACE(capital,name,'') AS extension 
FROM world 
WHERE capital LIKE CONCAT(name,'%') 
AND capital <> name
